Welcome to Baltic Inspirations, Inc.
Our product is made in Estonia, the northernmost of the free three Baltic Republics, on the coast of the Baltic Sea.
The art and craft of wool making and garment knitting have been a part of folk culture in Estonia for over 800 years. From this small country a precious few of these garments are available to the world market. Many of our garments are home made on knitting machines yet significant amount of work is also handcrafted.
Enjoy the comforting warmth and beauty of fine wool. The care of our product is easy. The material content is 90% wool and 10% polyester. Please wash the garments in cold water, delicate cycle, no bleach, lay flat to dry, cool iron. I personally prefer gentle spot cleaning rather than washing larger garments too frequently. For storage I recommend rolling your capes and sweaters and placing them on a shelf. Best not to leave them hanging on garment hangars for all seasons. By rolling the woolens there will be less crease lines, by storing them on a shelf avoids the risk of stretching the garment.

Have you ever heard 18 000 voices singing at once? This emotional experience can be felt during Estonia’s Song Festival, which occurs once every five years in Tallinn.
On this occasion tens of thousands of Estonians gather in Tallinn in the summertime to take part in the Song and Dance Festival.
In the summer of 2014, tens of thousands of singers will come together in Tallinn.The Song Festival is an enormous open-air choir concert held at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds with the participation of hundreds of choirs and thousands of singers. The number of participants in the Song Festival can reach up to 25 or 30 thousand, but the greatest number of people is on stage during the performance of the joined choirs—there are usually 18 000 singers on stage at that moment, and their powerful song touches even the most frigid Nordic disposition.
It’s not too early to start making plans to attend Estonia’s next Song and Dance Festival, which will be taking place from 4-6 July 2014
